The Short List

The search committee selects applicants from the approved pool who are hirable to form a short list. The people on this list will be invited for interviews.

The “Status” on the applications page with read “Recommend for interview” which means shortlist.

If more people apply, they can be added to the shortlist. This is termed a “rolling shortlist”. An updated shortlist must contain at least three new candidates OR be made at least one month after the preceding shortlist was approved The new shortlist needs to go through the same approval process.
