Summary: adjust teaching load, and make a note in Comments indicating the credit and student initials.

Dissertation committees are not entered on a quarterly basis.

Example: To assign a 1 unit credit for chairing Lauren Furtick’s committee, reduce the target by one and edit the Comments

Hypothetical example

Faculty receive credit for chairing or participating in doctoral dissertation committees (other than self-supporting DNP). Because this credit is on a yearly basis, it is simplest to edit the yearly teaching load. Furthermore, the committee membership does not need a schedule (time & room), so it does not need to be in the teaching schedule.
