Continuing lecturer

Senior continuing lecturer

and the terms “pre-six” and “initial” are sometimes used, but are not official.

. Pre-Six is used to explain that they are under 25 quarters of service. You will hear people say Lecturer, Pre-Six, or Pre-Six Lecturer, but essentially, it’s the same thing because all Lecturers are under 25 quarters.

Initial Continuing Lecturer – The way HR/APO define that the individual is in their first quarter/year of service as a Continuing Lecturer.

Excellence Review is a process that lets HR/APO know that someone is applying for a promotion into the Continuing Lecturer title.
