eValue + DNP Program Summer Pilot

“The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” -Walt Disney

We are launching 1st year DNP students’ access to eValue!  So far, students seem to have a smooth time activating their eValue accounts and navigating the interface. They are downloading the forms they need and then upload them without a hitch.

While Fall 2022 is when we intend on giving all students and faculty access to eValue in order to collect information, we wanted to do a soft pilot of some key functionalities of eValue with our smaller cohort of 1st year DNP students.

Previously, students have been instructed to provide several documents via Box or CCLE site upload.  It was a manual effort for Soo Kwon to collect, organize, and keep track of which students had or had not provided their required documents.  With all students in the eValue system, much of the mundane tasks of keeping track of which students have met or not met certain requirements can be easily tracked and viewed.

Multiple student attestation forms have been condensed into one form within eValue.  Now students can simply fill out one form and have it electronically recorded in their profile for quick reference if needed by student affairs staff.

Students have also been instructed to fill out demographic and biographical information.

An Orientation Evaluation Survey is also built in to be automatically sent out after DNP orientation concludes end of August in order to gain feedback on how we can improve the process for future cohorts.

This pilot is a learning process for us all, and we’re already able to see how we can harness eValue to work smarter, not harder, for program management.
