Bruin Brief 2022-06-10: Graduation at UCLA SON
Graduation at UCLA SON
Nearly 14,000 students will receive their degrees at commencement in 2022, according to the UCLA Newsroom. Of those, 232 will be graduates of the five different academic programs in the School of Nursing.
Commencement Season
Commencement marks the end of the academic journey that for some of our students began over zoom in 2020 during unprecedented times. This day marks an academic milestone for our graduates but also marks a momentous occasion for their family, friends, children, and mentors who supported them during their training. Commencement takes months of preparation which begins in early February. The success of the event is largely due to the coordination, dedication, and hard work of many individuals but the primary responsibility lies with student services who oversee the coordination of the event. The success of the event is attributed to the strong collaboration among program directors, faculty, dean’s office, and staff from many offices who together, ensure students, family, and friends have a memorable experience. Many thanks to everyone who has played a critical role in making this event a huge success.
UCLA School of Nursing Commencement will take place Saturday, June 11th 0830 am to 1145 am, at Royce Hall.
It will also be live-streamed UCLA School of Nursing Commencement 2022 .
